Terms of use

These terms set the baseline rules for using Jadili, publishing through the platform and participating in its editorial and collaboration systems.

Use of Jadili should support informed public discourse, lawful publishing and respect for the integrity of the editorial record.

Using the platform

You may use Jadili only for lawful purposes and in ways that do not interfere with the service, compromise another user’s account, misuse private material or undermine platform security.

Contributor responsibility

Contributors are responsible for the accuracy of their submissions, appropriate attribution, lawful use of third-party material, disclosure of relevant conflicts and respectful treatment of people and communities discussed in their work.

Editorial discretion

Submission does not guarantee publication. Jadili may review, request changes, decline, remove from prominence, correct or otherwise manage content in accordance with its editorial principles, legal obligations and platform integrity requirements.

Authorship and the public record

Authorship should reflect genuine contribution and explicit consent. Once an article is published, authorship and material editorial changes are treated as part of the durable public record and should not be casually rewritten.

Intellectual property

Authors retain rights in their original work except to the extent they grant Jadili the permissions reasonably necessary to host, reproduce, distribute, promote and preserve the published article and its associated metadata. Contributors must have the right to submit material they provide.

Service changes and availability

Jadili may change, improve, suspend or discontinue features as the platform develops. We aim to preserve published records responsibly, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability.
